Best Deposit Methods for US Online Casinos

With the current state of online gambling from the US, the real trick is not always WHERE you go but what method you use to pay for your trip.

You see, the UIGEA did not necessarily focus on the online casinos directly, but the means by which money went to them and from them. Credit Cards: mostly sunny, with a chance of showers. VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover (and all the little cards on their respective networks) are individually listed on the cashier/ banking pages of the individual casinos. Some are set up to accept them, and some are not…though you may have much better luck with the prepaid/ debit version of these cards (and you won’t be sending any personal or financial info when you use them!)

e-wallets: partly cloudy. Some of the biggest names (Click2Pay, PayPal, NETeller, and EcoCard) are just not willing to take on new US customers. However, some new subsidiaries are filling the void; try UseMyWallet (EcoCard’s US branch) and eWalletXpress for safe, fast, and convenient online account management.

Bank Services: sunshine now, but take an umbrella. Your bank can probably handle bank transfers and bank wire payments, and your account can probably do eChecks as well. Whether your particular bank wants to deal with your particular casino business is less certain. Bottom line: it’s not illegal, but it may be unavailable.

Western Union/ QuickCash: Sunny skies. Usually a fast, safe, and sure bet. Check with your casino & local wire service  just to be sure, but it may be your best choice if all else fails!
